Let us fly! Join Aliza Stone Howard for a workshop that will unpack headstands, handstands, forearm stands and chin stands in a fun and supportive environment. In this workshop, we will briefly discuss the physical and mental benefits of an inversion practice, and then learn step-by-step how to safely work toward and exit each asana.
We will move through a distinct warm-up for each inversion before practicing the shape itself in order to harness the specific strength and mobility that support these empowering postures. We will also discuss ways of seamlessly weaving inversions into your vinyasa practice, so that as you fall heels-over-head in love with them, you can continue to practice inversions regularly.
This workshop will be accessible to yogis of all levels, whether you are seeking exposure to the fundamental tools to begin an upside-down practice, or you are more seasoned practitioner eager to take on new challenges and transitions.

We live in a world where our nervous systems are constantly taxed with various types of stress in our daily routines and throughout our environments. Restorative yoga is a gentle and relaxing practice that helps to reduce cortisol levels and promote the rest and digest functions of your parasympathetic nervous system.
Join Jenny for some light movement and pranayama before diving into a yummy restorative practice. We will explore a series of supported poses designed to encourage an opening of the chakras and soften your entire being into a soothing, peaceful state of calm. This workshop is for all levels and no prior yoga experience is necessary.
