The Mysore Program at House Of Jai Yoga is a space for practitioners at all levels to develop a deep and meaningful self practice. Students arrive at any time between 6am and 9am and leave at any time when they are finished.  Practitioners learn the yoga from " Inside- Out" memorizing sequences and movements. The Full and New Moons are considered yoga holidays in the Ashtanga Yoga tradition. Classes are suspended on those days as a way of attuning our individual rhythms with natures cycles.

Mysore is the traditional way of practicing Ashtanga yoga as originally taught in Mysore, India. This class accommodates everyone from the most advanced to the absolute beginner student. Arrive at any time, practice at your own pace, and leave when you are done.  Students are taught individually within the group setting allowing space for each person's unique needs and abilities. Meditation and breathing exercises are also taught to complete the practice.

Led Ashtanga Variations: Sundays-  8am - 915 - Pranayama ( breath work)  until 945 optional.

Sunday is the traditional day for practicing Second Series as it is designed to awaken the light from within. The Ashtanga Variations class will split from the therapeutic half primary into the nerve cleansing half second series.  Our sequence will include deep forward bends, twists, core strengthening and will counterbalance with a gradually intensifying series of backbends. This class is vigorous and for those who want a challenge.
